Tim founded the company after being the partner in charge of The Kachele Group's Malvern office for four years. He graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree in 2001 and started his career in Rockland County New York immediately upon graduation. After a few years in Rockland County, Tim made a move that brought him to the Philadelphia region, initially working for a larger firm in center city Philadelphia designing mostly small commercial buildings.  He then took a job with a firm in the suburbs where he primarily designed structures for private schools and universities.  In 2009, Tim joined The Kachele Group as a project engineer and was promoted to a partner with the firm in 2014.  In 2017, he was one of two partners that purchased the company from its founder.

Tim has a wide range of experience designing a variety of new and renovated structures, including, but not limited to residential, commercial, and institutional buildings among them.  He had the unique opportunity early in his career to be a member of underwater investigation teams that performed inspections and analysis of marine structures.  Tim's primary focus has been building structures where he focuses on the constructability of projects and works with the client and contractor to produce structures that have high performance characteristics while not ignoring budget concerns.

Tim lives in northwest Chester County with his wife, two daughters, and their Lagotto Romagnolo.  Before work, he can be found running, biking, or exercising.  Tim also enjoys spending time with his family sitting around a firepit on the deck.  When he can find the time, Tim enjoys golf.  He is an avid Penn State football fan and also enjoys vacations with the family, which typically lead to the beach.
